Hello!  My name is Kyli Gander and I teach kindergarten at Ashland Ridge.  I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary (K-6) Education, with endorsements in reading and early childhood, from Central College.  I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in education from Viterbo University.  I will graduate from the program in July 2012.  I have been part of the Ankeny Community School District since 2008.  I love to meet the kindergarten students in the fall and watch them develop as learners throughout the school year.  Their eagerness to absorb new things is so exciting!  I truly feel blessed to have the opportunity of impacting so many little lives!  Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my husband, Ben and our children, Brynna and Braylan, watching baseball, shopping, and cheering on the Hawkeyes.
